In an effort to offer our students the most opportunity possible in preparing for college, Grace Christian Academy is approved for the College and Career Promise Program with Cleveland Community College. Rising Juniors and Seniors are eligible for the program and must test into it. The College and Career Promise Program allows enrolled students to dual enroll for their core subjects, allowing them to earn college credit and their high school credit at the same time. It also allows them to take other college classes as electives. The College and Career Promise Program is free to students who are eligible with the only cost being any texts or materials needed for the class. Eligible students will take the classes online through CCC and must be enrolled and present on Grace Christian Academy’s campus for their core subjects. Students who do not place into the core program may still be eligible for dual enrollment of other classes and will be decided for on a case-by-case basis. All classes taken from dual enrollment core credit will be counted as honors classes. This only applies to core classes. Juniors who place into the program initially may graduate from Grace Christian Academy having earned at the highest level an Associates degree. If you have any questions concerning the College and Career Promise Program or your student’s eligibility, please contact the school at (704)-734-0509.
